TGIF. It came and went and I’m enjoying a low key weekend. No alcohol but I did try cricket chips. They are rice crackers with powdered cricket mixed in. I can only describe them as land shrimp chips. Not the first thing I would grab off the shelves but not bad.
The rest is just Redbubble.
Sorry, I’m re-centering myself and that means no drink weekdays. Also, weekend ≠ bender (weekbender). But there are plenty of other things to look at and enjoy. Like the following designs.
There will be a good beer festival—a new one— in a few weeks.
Such a weekend. Seeing people I hadn’t in years. Saying goodbye but not permanently to some. Meeting new and interesting people. The United States may be destroying itself from within like an ulcer patient who refuses to give up triple cheese chili dogs, but things are okay here.
There were some great beers Saturday night including a Mass Ascension IPA and a bottled Jaipur from Thornbridge Brewery. I loved both and found the bottled Jaipur even better than the canned one.
Sunday was a recovery day. Not much can be said for that other than I kept things down while watching lots of boats on YouTube. A stiff breeze blew through my place so even the air conditioning had the day off.
So, overall a nice weekend, the kind you don’t get too often and probably shouldn’t as it would spoil them after a while. Please check out the new designs below. I’m getting a lot more visitors to the shop and with over 1200 designs, there is something for everyone. I hope to be looking back at NFTs again soon when the whole crypto-world starts to come back.
And I’m busy as usual. There are lessons to be learned and taught. There are farewell parties to attend and possibly embarrass myself at. I hope that last one doesn’t happen. I’m pretty sure it won’t since I have a fairly good control over myself in drinking situations.
This weekend caps a nice but hard week in elementary and kindergarten. Those kids can be some of the most energetic and quick learners but I always need a break for my voice and body after all the physical response activities we do in class.

Anyway, happy very belated Father’s Day!
Something is up. There’s a rhythm to it all but we need to stop and listen now and then. The stress builds and even the truth is pushed—sometimes violently—away in favor of a comfort that is usually temporary. Then again, everything is temporary. We certainly are. It’s rough when people are in such a hurry. So much is missed.
By that I hope you have a great weekend. I’m going to rest up and enjoy myself and my family.

This is thee extent to the revelries. Keeping it short since I got to get up early, and there really was very little done. I quite enjoyed it.
…Not beer. Maybe something else since I am writing this a bit before the evening.
Last night there was a quick stop at my local pub where I enjoyed a good old Suruga Bay Imperial IPA from Baird Beer along with their Shuzenji Heritage Helles. They really hit the spot hard after my most recent dry spell.
Redbubble designs have been piling up but I think this new batch are pretty good. I really like the dinosaur one and part of every sale will go to my nephew who brainstormed the idea with me.
