So I’m an American expat living in Japan for most of the past 15 years or so. I have done various things here but mostly I’ve taught English. For a while now I’ve been getting more and more into craft beer and home brewing. I’d like to take my beer education to the next level and get into professional brewing but until then, I’m going to or working at as many beer festivals as I can.
Taking a break from brewing. The summer temperatures prevent me in my current set up to brew. I am enjoying the numerous beer festivals we have around Kansai.
I also have a few hardware projects to work on like drilling my brew pot and adding the ball valve, and possibly putting together a stir plate. I should also be thinking about Autumn brewing schedules and ordering ingredients soon.
